About Danny

I have been a practicing clinical therapist since 2012, working with children, adults, and families all across King County in Washington. I've had the privilege of a breadth of experience from working as an intern, employee, and supervisor in community mental health clinics, as well as independently in a private practice setting.

My approaches to therapy have been developed working in a clinical setting, supporting students through school-based therapy, visiting families in their homes, and collaborating with teams of other therapists over my six years in community mental health.

I am fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State.

My credentials include a Master's degree in Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University completed in 2014, a Bachelor's in Science in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University completed in 2011. I was first licensed as an Associate in Washington State in 2014, and have been fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2018. I am also a Mental Health Professional in Washington state since 2015 and an approved supervisor since 2020. My continuing education has helped me expand my understanding and skills to help adolescents, families fostering or adopting children, supporting and affirming LGBTQ families and youth, and the treatment of acute and complex trauma.

My work outside of being a therapist has included nearly two decades of volunteer work with youth, and volunteering to care for homeless communities. My perspective on the world has also been shaped by being a husband, a father, a dog owner, as well as working as a sailor, working in trades, gardening, studying to be an illustrator, and my love of backpacking in the Olympic Mountains.
